Belvedere of Gardes - ornithological observatory

The ornithological observatory offers a magnificent view of the Combrailles and volcanoes of the Chaîne des Puys. Its enamelled lava orientation table allows a better reading of the landscape.

LPO signs raise awareness about species and migration routes. The Guards' belvedere allows you to see two routes used by birds during seasonal migrations. It is one of the three main migration observation sites in Auvergne.
