Flat on the first floor, in the centre of a flowery village (2 flowers), on the edge of a river. The Fades Besserve lake is 5 km away, (water sports, supervised swimming...). Museum "Retour sur le Passé" (Back to the Past), Romanesque church of the 12th century.
If necessary, this gîte can communicate directly with gîte n°8. Situated in the centre of the village of Miremont, this gite is composed of a living room with dining area, kitchen, 1 bedroom (1 double bed, 2 single beds), bathroom with shower, WC. Multi-service grocery shop with mountain bike hire nearby. Multiple possibilities for discovering the rich terroir of Les Combrailles: "Back to the past" museum (opening 9am-6pm) in the heart of the village, which retraces the way of life of our ancestors in our countryside. 12th century church and its snail cemetery. Geocaching in the village. Multiple hiking trails. A stretch of water offering all possibilities for family water sports activities. Nearby the vélorail des Fades allowing access to the viaduct, which was the highest railway viaduct in the world at the time of its construction (1909), after an astonishing passage through three tunnels. Nearby is the church of Pontaumur, whose great organ is an exact reproduction of the organ of Johann Sebastian Bach in Arnstadt.
