Description and tourist interests: This 5ha80 lake is located in a preserved setting and has a pleasant relaxation area. You will also benefit from the wooden works exhibited near the pond. Access starting point: From Charensat, take the D13 towards Pontaumur and Villossanges, exit the village. After a football field on the left, at the next crossroads take direction Montel de Gelat, pond of Chancelade. After a few bends take the first small road on the right. On this path, further on take the second left, follow the path for 300m to arrive at the small car park in front of a gate.
Description and tourist interests: Go for a walk along the largest pond in Puy de Dôme: the Chancelade pond with its 132 hectares. This circuit was marked out by the pupils of the primary school of Biollet, Espinasse and Charensat (BEC). It will allow you to discover the fauna and flora of the Chancelade pond.
